People miss getting together

AUDIO - People miss getting together
The impact of social distancing is discussed from the context of an entire culture. Outdoor events would otherwise be making opportunities for safe direct contact with strangers. This aspect of our culture has vanished.

Bullets:

  • People have expectations of a safe environment amongst groups of 100’s of thousands. We see in the situation of the pandemic today that fear is common
  • People are already missing the experience of coming together to share.
  • When the restrictions occurred, the New Zealand event industry as a whole was in it’s peak, so there is a huge shortfall in this experience of sharing.

Quote:
You can choose to turn to your own inner being.
