Dr. Ross Mars

Ross is one of the most authoritative permaculture teachers, designers and consultants in Australia, and author of five books on the subject and two DVD’s on energy efficient housing design and renewable energy systems for power generation. He and his wife Jenny run Red Planet Plants, a wholesale nursery that specialises in bush tucker, bush medicine, waterwise natives and other useful plants. Besides his involvement on the wastewater industry Ross also manufactures and supplies greywater reuse and rainwater tank systems, and installs waterwise gardens and water-sensible irrigation systems. Ross has developed and introduced the new Accredited Permaculture courses in WA, delivering CIII to Diploma as well as developing CI and CII as VET programs for schools and community groups
